What is money? What is price, value, wealth? Set in a speculative scenario where humanity is building a colony on a new planet, during this workshop we’ll explore the 8 forms of capital framework to create a possible vision for a future society, optimistic by design. After all, capital is more than just finances.
Together we’ll engage in a group mind exercise to stimulate regenerative thinking. We encourage everyone to bring an open mind and the wealth of inner knowledge which we all have inside. The organisers deeply believe that everyone can bring precious knowledge to the table, stemming from our life experiences, cultures and backgrounds, and they hope that this workshop will help it be rediscovered.

Overview
This workshop invites participants to envision an alternative economic system for a future society by applying the 8 forms of capital framework. Set in a speculative scenario where humanity is building a colony on a new planet, the workshop challenges participants to rethink foundational concepts such as money, price, value, and wealth.
Through collaborative group exercises, participants will engage in regenerative thinking, tapping into their creativity and inner knowledge to address social challenges. Together, they will design a protocol for seamless exchange between different forms of capital.
You can expect an inflow of creative ideas, rediscovery of (long)forgotten knowledge and lots of optimistic and uplifting notions for the future of humanity.

Led by: Marta Kotlarska and Kuba Kulesza

Marta is a crypto FinCrime analyst by day and a passionate advocate for all things regenerative by afternoon and night. With experience supporting projects in the emerging field of Regenerative Finance, she dedicates her time to teaching and promoting optimistic visions of the future — from regenerative and indigenous economics to solarpunk and decentralisation.

Kuba is part of the Working Group as a philosopher of design, educator, and futurist. With experience as a digital product strategist and designer, he is also interested in training, MVP research and development, platform strategy, the philosophy of information, planet-centered design, and agrofuturism. In his free time, he enjoys gardening.
